In early 2010 we teamed up with Volaris Sweden AB to create a modern indoor walking aid.
To start using a walking aid can be challenging for various reasons, not least due to the psychological aspect.
Today’s older generation are used to being able to set high standards for the products they use, and to demand more than just reaching the functional requirements.
The challenge was to create a product that has both good performance and attractive aesthetics and where the user can feel comfortable and confident using the aid. Can you get people to voluntarily buy a walker, rather than be forced to use it?
The result is innovative. The traditional feeling of an aid is gone and instead a product with basic help functions such as braking and customization options.
